Purpose
To protect network reputation and ensure reliable service for all customers.
Policy Scope
This policy applies to all VPS and dedicated services that send outbound email or request PTR (reverse DNS) records.
PTR Records
-
PTR records are required for outbound email delivery.
-
Requests for multiple PTR updates across locations may be processed in stages.
-
PTR records must accurately reflect the hostname of the sending server.
Outbound Email Usage
-
Customers intending to send outbound email must declare the intended use case (transactional, application notifications, monitoring, etc.).
-
Bulk or high-volume sending may require additional verification.
-
Customers are responsible for configuring SPF, DKIM, and DMARC where applicable.
Monitoring and Abuse Prevention
-
Outbound SMTP traffic may be monitored for abuse indicators.
-
Excessive spam complaints, blacklist events, or policy violations may result in temporary rate limiting or suspension of outbound email functionality.
Enforcement
-
This policy is applied uniformly across all customers.
-
Failure to comply may result in delayed PTR updates or outbound email restrictions.
